I use my normal sunscreen with this on top and carry this with me throughout the day to touch up my face. If I’m wearin makeup I use sunscreen then makeup with his on top and again I can touch it up as the day goes on without worry. I’m super pale and ginger so I wear a good SPF year round and this stops me looking greasy and maintains my SPF protection throughout the day

I love this light, translucent face powder. I have always been meticulous about protecting my skin and use only moisturiser and foundation with a high SPF.
Of course the SPF stops protecting after 2 or 3 hours of wear. This powder is perfect for topping up SPF during the day.
It’s odourless and translucent. I have olive skin and it doesn’t make my skin look whiter.
I buy in bulk as this is the best product of It’s type I have found. The price is reasonable too.
I am mid 50’s in age and people are always shocked at how young I look.
I believe SPF has helped so much to minimise wrinkles.

– The compact comes in a bright yellow flip-flop case with a mirror attached inside. I’m not a fan of the sponge as these kinds tend to lose their shape after some washes.
– The powder has a smooth texture and blends easily (tap and don’t swipe so as to not emphasize any dryness you have on your face and also not to move your foundation).
– It has a mid citrusy scent which doesn’t stay for long on the face.
– There’s only ONE shade available in this compact which Lakme claims to be a universal one. Sadly, I don’t think this shade will work for beauties over NC40 skintone.
– The powder has a yellowish tint to it which brightens up my NC30 skintone. The tint isn’t too strong to alter the color of my foundation.
– The coverage is light and doesn’t do much for my light acne scars. I’m okay with a compact on most days. So, it all comes down to your preference. If you require a light-medium coverage on a daily basis, you will need to add another base product.
– It offers a matte finish and my oily skin looks in a good state even after 4-5 hours. Although in extreme summers in Delhi, I’m sure the mattifying effect will get lesser. It’s important to keep realistic expectations from your makeup in extreme heat weather conditions. There’s a reason why oil blotting sheets exist.
If you want your skin to keep looking matte for long hours, apply loose powder using a damp beauty blender to press it into your skin. I don’t do this on a daily basis though.
How I use it:
I don’t use it as a sunscreen alone. First, I apply my sunscreen and then, follow up with this powder to set it in place. If I want to add foundation/BB cream, I do that before using this powder.

BDamajan finds everything good on the best BDamajan, so you get the same as shown in the picture. The powder is very good. Lakme’s powder is the best you must buy it.

This compact is quite inexpensive than others. It has spf in it so it will provide extra sun protection. Even if you don’t feel like applying anything on face just applied this compact powder and you are good to go

This is a good way to re-apply sunscreen especially over make-up. I don’t use this as my primary sunscreen. When I go out, I use an SPF lotion/gel and apply this powder every 3-4 hrs which is required in summers. Those who have clear skin can use this by itself as it does provide some coverage. An extra* because for being such an affordable powder, it doesnt settle into my fine lines/creases nor does it oxidize. I have medium skin tone with an oily T-Zone and this is fine for me.I’ve been using the Colorscience Mineral loose powder with SPF earlier but its really expensive. I decided to try this out & although It felt a little cakey initially (I do use a fair amount to get the requisite SPF protection) I’ve grown to like it. It absorbs excess oils, mattifies & provide high SPF protection (UVB, UVA and PA+++) at such a pocket friendly price, there’s nothing not to like about it. I’ve been using it for about 1 month & till now have not had any issue with blocked pores. Update: Although it claims to be longwear, I find that if I sweat it wears off within 2-3 hrs .

mine arrived in a perfect condition. Coming to the actual product, used it 2-3 times, and the coverage is good but longevity isn’t, needs to be reapplied after 3-4 hrs. It also leaves a bit of a white cast. However if you have oily skin and cream sunscreens made u feel greasy, sticky, then this compact is the perfect one for you at this price point in India. Only wish it came it a few different shades for different complexions.
