I have used this product for years. I have very fair skin and this keeps my skin from burning and there is no white residue. I use this as a moisturizing foundation in the evening under my makeup.

I like its light texture, its smell and its jar that is very easy to use in large and small quantities. It protects from the sun during my cycling and mountaineering times.
Tabassum chowdhury –
I got it for my daughter and she likes it because it leaves no white cast. This sunscreen is also very moisturizing.

i just want to say based in other reviews i thought the burning when i got it in my eyes would be horrible, but its actually not bad at ALL. yes its uncomfortable but i rub my eyes and touch my face a ton and it this product really is a stand-out in terms of burning the crap out of my eyeballs upon contact like other chemical sunscreens are known to do. if youre afraid of any discomfort at ALL, dont buy the product, but if you know that many chemical sunscreens hurt like hell when you get them in your eyes, this one is great bc it is really shockingly mild and gentle.

I was looking for a good sunscreen lotion for everyday for my neck, arms, hands, etc. I didn’t want to use up all my expensive mineral sunscreen I wear on my face every day on those areas unless I’m at the beach or something. This is advertised as high spf with a light weight not greasy feel. The first bottle I was sent was damaged which was annoying but life happens. The lotion is pretty light weight and spreads decently easy. With the way they advertise it I was thinking it would feel completely weightless, but it does still have a bit of that thick sunscreen coating feel. It’s pretty good though for a sunscreen lotion. It’s definitely not overly greasy at all. I wish it was a little more light weight and undetectable on the skin, but it’s sunscreen, so it is what it is. Overall I would buy again if I can’t find something more light weight and weightless feeling on the skin. I love the high spf and the fact it’s water resistant so I could use this at the beach if I wanted to. I would probably use something else at the beach but I have the option. It does hydrate my skin so that’s nice. With the hot Texas summer I think this may be a tad heavy but I haven’t found anything lighter that’s not one of those clear sprays that is actual beach/pool sunscreen. I didn’t really want to spray beach sunscreen on myself every day so this works ok. I hope that makes sense. Just for comparison I’ve tried Alba body lotion with sunscreen (spf 15) and eucerin body lotion with sunscreen (spf 15&30) I I prefer the aveeno over both those. The Alba was super greasy and the eucerin was ok but nothing special. The only thing I’ve found that is truly weightless is banana boat (I think it is) weightless sunscreen spray but that’s one of those sunscreens made for the beach as opposed to an everyday lotion which I’m wanting. This aveeno sunscreen lotion has a very light sweet scent, nothing strong or anything. I can hardly smell it unless I have my face to my arm or something. I suppose you could also use this on your face. I personally wouldn’t because I like my mineral sunscreens. It’s a good deal though considering you can use it everywhere if you want and also use it when swimming because it’s water resistant up to 80 mins. I wish it was mineral sunscreen but then it would probably have a white cast so oh well.

I use this daily on my arms to prevent sunburn. It’s light and not too greasy and works well.

I have been using this product for about 2 months now and I am truly blown away by Aveeno’s Protect + Hydrate line. I use this everyday for my body moisturizer+SS. Here’s why:
– Feels like a lotion not a SS
-Lightweight
-NO WHITE-CAST
-Water Resistant
-A high broad-spectrum SPF
-Oxybenzone Free
Has a nice fragrance—I personally don’t mind fragrance on my body, but if you are someone who’s skin may be sensitive towards fragrance, just FYI. The fact that they also make a travel-sized version of this same product means the world to me.

I am a man looking for sunblock that I can apply to my arms and the tops of my hands, which are usually exposed in shirts. My arms get really dry and burn quickly, so I needed something that was cheaper than the SPF30 moisturizer I use on my face.
I am very pleased with this product. It is just what I needed. It’s easy to spread, and a little goes a long way. It’s moisturizing but not greasy, it doesn’t make my arms look wet or shiny. It also doesn’t leave my hands greasy after application. I’m very happy with the peace of mind this product leaves me. The most sun exposure I get is walking to my car and back on most days, so I only apply it once.

I have extremely dry skin and this is the ONLY brand of sunscreen that actually hydrates my skin. I also have dark skin and this sunscreen does not leave a white residue.

I’ve found my sunscreen soulmate with Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Moisturizing Body Sunscreen Lotion. This SPF 60 powerhouse has revolutionized my sun protection routine. Applying it is a breeze, just like a regular lotion, without any annoying white tint. And let’s not forget the delightful scent that makes slathering on sunscreen feel like a spa day for my skin. I’ve become obsessed with sunscreen since noticing some forehead wrinkles, and this product has made it a joy to incorporate into my daily routine, even for a self-proclaimed lazy person like me.
While the positives are aplenty, there is one minor hiccup to mention. The sunscreen can cause a slight stinging sensation if you accidentally rub your eyes, even after it has dried. It’s a tiny annoyance in an otherwise stellar experience, but it’s something to be mindful of. Overall, Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Sunscreen Lotion is something I’ll continue to use to avoid sun damaged skin.

Pros to Protect + Hydrate!
Price: Positively Radiant is more expensive than Protect + Hydrate
Protection: It has a larger SPF range and it is water resistant and sweat proof
Coverage: It is more liquid so it can spread on your body more easily
Fragrance: It smells nice!
Skin Feeling: Moisturizing & gentle. This left my lips feeling good instead of dry.
Amount: You can buy a larger bottle (at a more expensive price).
Cons compared to Positively Radiant!
Consistency: Because it is more liquid it is definitely more messy.
Skin Feeling: It feels more like sunscreen than lotion, so if you are planning on using this in replacement of lotion or for indoor use, just be mindful of that.
Apply Time: You must reapply every 80 minutes. With Positively Radiant their bottle says every 2 hours. Though, use this at your own discretion.
While Positively Radiant is still a good option, Aveeno Protect + Hydrate wins as a better sunscreen lotion. Personally, neither upset my skin, they both smell nice, and they don’t sting the heck out of my eyes.
